“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”
― Charles Dickens,
After the historic show on 9th July at DKBs Point of View, a new twist is about taking place in the longest running stand-up comedy series in the country, A Night of Laughs and Music, as most of the acts seem to be from Ghana.
This year a new face would be appearing on the series and many just can’t wait to have a feel of what Ghana’s Kevin Hart has to deliver. With his outstanding performance at DKB’s Point of View which earned him a standing ovation and again from patrons including celebrities, Lekzy Decomic is set to grace the stage again.
In a chit chat with Comedy Empire, the comedian expressed joy at the inclusion of other Ghanaian Comedians and himself. He believes it’s a sign that the industry has come to stay. “I’m going to redefine comedy and this time patrons are going to set history by giving me a flying ovation when I’m done dislocating their ribs.” He said.
Lekzy on that night would be performing alongside Foster Romanus, Acapella, I Go Dye, Destalker, OB, Khemikal, Kenney Black and a host of others.
